Product Description
This product is the dried ripe seeds of Cassia obtusifolia L. or Cassia tora L. (small senna), plants of the Leguminosae family. The ripe fruits are harvested in autumn, dried in the sun, and then the seeds are threshed and impurities are removed.
【Properties, Flavors and Meridian Tropisms】Sweet, bitter and salty in flavor, slightly cold in nature. It pertains to the liver and large intestine meridians.
【Functions and Indications】Clear heat and improve eyesight, moisten the intestines and relieve constipation. It is used for redness, pain and dryness of the eyes, photophobia with excessive tearing, headache and dizziness, dim vision, and constipation.
