Product Description
This product is the dried bark of Cinnamomum cassia Presl of the Lauraceae family. It is mostly peeled in autumn and then air-dried.

Pungent, sweet in flavor, extremely hot in nature. It pertains to the kidney, spleen, heart and liver meridians.
**Functions and Indications**
Supplements fire and boosts yang, guides floating yang back to its origin, dispels cold and relieves pain, warms and activates meridians. It is used for impotence, coldness of the uterus, soreness and coldness of the waist and knees, dyspnea due to kidney deficiency, floating of deficient yang, dizziness and redness of the eyes, cold pain in the chest and abdomen, vomiting and diarrhea due to deficiency-cold, cold hernia pain, dysmenorrhea and amenorrhea.
