Product Description
This product is the dried bark of Phellodendron chinense Schneid., a plant of the Rutaceae family. Commonly known as "Sichuan Phellodendron Bark". After stripping the bark, the rough bark is removed and then it is dried in the sun.

【Functions and Indications】Clear heat and dry dampness, purge fire and reduce steaming heat, detoxify and treat sores. It is used for damp-heat diarrhea, jaundice with dark urine, leukorrhea with vaginal itching, painful and difficult urination due to heat strangury, beriberi with muscle weakness and paralysis, hectic fever due to consumptive disease, night sweats, spermatorrhea, sores and abscesses, eczema and wet sores. Salt-processed Phellodendron Bark nourishes yin and reduces fire. It is used for yin deficiency with excessive fire, night sweats and hectic fever.
