Product Description
This product is the dried rhizome of Curcuma longa L., a plant of the Zingiberaceae family. It is dug when the stems and leaves wither in winter. After being washed, it is boiled or steamed until thoroughly cooked, then dried in the sun and the fibrous roots are removed.
