Product Introduction
This product is a dried complex of the fruiting body and larval cadaver of Cordyceps sinensis (Berk.) Sacc., a fungus of the Clavicipitaceae family parasitizing on insect larvae of the Hepialidae family. The fruiting body is unearthed in early summer, before spore dispersal, sun-dried to about 60-70% dryness, and impurities and fiber-like attachments are removed. It is then dried completely or low-temperature dried.
