Product Introduction
This product is the dried spike of Prunella vulgaris L. (Lamiaceae). It is harvested in summer when the spikes turn brownish red. After removing impurities, it is sun-dried.

Pungent, bitter in flavor, cold in nature. It pertains to the liver and gallbladder meridians.
**Functions and Indications**
Clears the liver and purges fire, improves eyesight, dissipates nodules and reduces swelling. It is used for redness and swelling pain of the eyes, nocturnal pain of the eyeballs, headache and dizziness, scrofula, goiter, mastitis, breast lumps, and breast distending pain.
