Product Introduction
This product is the dried mature seeds of Plantago asiatica L. or Plantago depressa Willd. of the Plantaginaceae family. When the seeds are mature in summer and autumn, the fruiting spikes are harvested, sun-dried, the seeds are rubbed out, and impurities are removed.

**Functions and Indications**
Clears heat, promotes diuresis and relieves stranguria, promotes dampness percolation and stops diarrhea, improves eyesight and resolves phlegm. It is used for painful stranguria with heat symptoms, edema and fullness, diarrhea due to summer-dampness, redness and swelling pain of the eyes, and cough due to phlegm-heat.
