Product Introduction
This product is the dried aboveground part of Mentha haplocalyx Briq., a plant of the Labiatae family. In summer and autumn, when the stems and leaves are lush or the flowers have bloomed for three rounds, harvest on sunny days in batches, and dry in the sun or shade.
【Properties and Meridians】Pungent, cool. Returns to the Lung and Liver meridians.
【Functions and Indications】Disperses wind-heat, clears the head and eyes, benefits the throat, promotes eruption of rashes, and regulates the Liver Qi. Used for wind-heat colds, early stages of wind-warmth, headache, red eyes, throat obstruction, mouth sores, wind rash, measles, and chest and flank distension.
